Beginner Days
Portugal Polo Club organises Beginner Days on a regular basis. This is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of polo, whilst spending a pleasant morning or afternoon in the countryside.
The day starts with a theory session on riding and polo. This is followed by hand-mallet and wooden horse sessions, where participants will learn the different hitting techniques. Once this is mastered, participants will be shown to their horses for their instructional polo lesson, which will finish with a short chukka. The Beginner Day will close with an Argentine asado.
Next dates: 20 May, 27 May, 23 June, 27 June, 22 July, 19 August
Beginner Day: 120 EUR per participant

Technical Analysis
One of the best ways to improve your polo swing is by seeing it and understanding what you are doing right or wrong. With a specifically designed software and together with Diogo Gallego, one of Europe’s best players with a 5 goal Handicap, we will make a side-by-side analysis of your swing and highlight areas for improvement, such as:
- Body position
- Weight distribution
- Rhythm / Timing
- Swing angles, including those located in the spine, shoulders, elbows and wrists
- Back swing and follow-through
Portugal Polo Cup
The Portugal Polo Cup will feature both a low-goal (-4 to 0) and a medium-goal (0 to 2) leagues, allowing players of all levels to participate to this annual event and showcase their polo skills!
